WFHS Band Summer Band Information
2013 Coyote Band Summer Schedule
We are looking forward to a very exciting and successful year. The band depends on YOU for its success!
It is imperative that you arrange your summer schedule so that you may attend ALL of pre-band. Marching spots will be assigned and we will start learning drill during pre-band. Failure to attend WILL jeopardize your spot. For more information, visit our web site at: http://wfhsbigred.com. The keys to continuing the Big Red Band from Coyote Land’s tradition of excellence are: Discipline, Dedication, Drive, and Determination.
Week 1
August 1st and 2nd, 9am-noon ~ Freshman, Colorguard, and Percussion only
Week 2
August 5th-9th, 8am-noon ~ FULL BAND
Week 3
August 12th-14th, 8am-2pm ~ FULL BAND
August 15th - WFISD FANFEST, TBA
August 16th, 8am-2pm ~ FULL BAND
Week 4
August 19th and 20th, 6pm-8pm ~ Full Band
August 22nd - NO REHEARSAL
August 23rd, 6pm-8pm ~ Concert/Cookout
August 24th, NO REHEARSAL

Cost: $20 per person
Week #2 ~ August 5-9 8 a.m.- Noon
Powerade and Ice Water
Big Red Band logo water bottles will be available for purchase ($1) or you can bring your own bottle from home.
Week #3 ~ August 12-14 and 16 8 a.m.– 2 p.m. - Reservations are required for week #2 lunches!
Powerade and Ice Water plus Full Lunch
- A Booster Club member will be available to take reservations & payments on Wed., Aug. 7 & Fri. Aug. 9.
- Payments in a clearly marked envelope may also be dropped in the band office payment box anytime during Week #1.
- Students MAY NOT leave the premises during pre-band but can forego our lunch program and bring their own lunch from home.
